Megan Joens is a dedicated dental assistant with over 17 years of experience helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Born and raised in Bend, Oregon, she is passionate about serving the community she has always called home by creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and at ease throughout their visit.
As a valued member of the team at Masters of Dentistry, Megan combines her extensive clinical experience with a genuine commitment to exceptional patient care. In addition to her EFDA and EFODA certifications, she is also certified in phlebotomy and local anesthesia, allowing her to provide comprehensive, compassionate care while prioritizing each patient’s comfort and safety.
Megan believes that building trusting relationships is one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry. She enjoys getting to know her patients, educating them about their oral health, and helping them feel confident in their smiles.
Outside of the office, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, whom she met through rugby, and their three children, ages 3, 13, and 18. She also plays for her local women’s rugby team, where she appreciates the camaraderie, teamwork, and sense of community the sport provides. When she’s not on the rugby pitch or in the office, you’ll often find her gardening or enjoying the outdoors in beautiful Central Oregon.
